EHS Coordinator

Job Description
Danfoss HEX DK is looking for an EHS Coordinator to help us creating and enforcing a culture of safety within our new campus in Kolding (DK).
Danfoss HEX produces heat exchangers divided into three business units: Micro Channel Heat Exchangers, Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers and Gasketed and Welded Heat Exchangers.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ensure local implementation of Group EHS processes and tools for alignment across factories
- Setting direction and support in developing action plans to support targets and Process Performance Indicators in cooperation with factory management.
- Best practice/knowledge sharing incl. new legislations
- Support an effective implementation of QEHS-MS (ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001)
- Support/report in “Global Incident Management System” (GIMS) and Accident Analyzes (LTI, MTI, MI, EI)
- Assist in handling of inquiries from authorities
- Give inputs and support to the EHS Management Review and ensure continuous improvements
- Create awareness to keep environmental, health and safety protection and commitment at a high level
- Facilitate the detailed planning and execution of internal and external audits in the organization. Participate if needed.
- Participate in Gemba, kaizen and safety walks when needed
- Secure management and structure for AMU and AMO meetings
Background & Skills
- Minimum 3-5 years of working experience with EHS (management)
- ISO9001/45001/14001 lead auditor or experienced internal auditor
- Solid experience in root cause problem solving
- Self-driven, strong communication and coaching skills.
- Cross culture behavior and understanding
- Experience with contact to public authorities and stakeholders
- Ability to solve causes of problems and work with data, driving continuously improvements
- Flexible mind-set committed to continuously improvements
- Good communication and writing skills in English. Speaking a Scandinavian language would be beneficial
- Experience with SAP S/4 HANA
