Danfoss Climate Solutions, Global Manufacturing Technology is looking for an experienced Project Manager within business transformation. If you are excited about enhancing the foundation of a solid and flexible production, through development, innovation and optimization, this is an opportunity to make your mark.

 

You will become part of a team of project managers with high aspirations, working broadly with production setup for new products – NPD projects. 
 

We are involved in developing new production concepts and you will take the lead on execution and implementation of the Equipment for our Global Factories 

 

Your location will be either in Kolding or Nordborg, Denmark.

Job Responsibilities

As our new Project Manager, you will be responsible for guiding 1-3 projects in parallel, ensuring that the projects are delivered to the expectation of customers and according to the agreed deadline and budget. 
 
Your main responsibilities will be, but not limited to:
    
•    Facilitate development of equipment concepts with suppliers incl. spec, RFQ, etc.
•    Plan, delegate and prioritize supply chain activities
•    Lead CAPEX approval process
•    Outline a budget based on requirements and track costs to deliver project on budget.
•    Prepare detailed project plans to schedule key milestones, workstreams & activities.
•    Manage delivery of the project according to plan.
•    Track project deliverables and provide regular reports on status to project teams and key stakeholders.
•    Manage and adjust for any changes in project scope, schedule and / or budget.
•    Identify and mitigate potential risks.
•    Manage the relationships and communication within the team and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction.


You will work cross functionally with key stakeholders (procurement, product owner, R&D, Manufacturing/Line Quality) in a agile project setup.
15-30 travel days per year to be expected
.

Background & Skills

There are several ways to be effective in this position. You may have a relevant educational background (e.g.: a bachelor or master degree in engineering), but more importantly you have solid project management experience. You are a good executer and have minimum 6 years hands-on operational experience that will lead to effective implementation. You have the attitude and energy to implement projects from day one and continuously ensure progress in an innovative environment with high demands and short deadlines.
 
As the projects are technically advanced, you need to have a technical understanding gained through education or experience. Furthermore, you have knowledge about and experience with agile methodologies. You have solid communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing, and you can communicate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and customers at all levels. Danish language skills will be an advantage. Finally, we expect that you have a proven history of creating solid results in a cross-cultural matrix organization. 
 

As a person, you tend to take initiative, are action- and result oriented with a focus on innovative and creative problem solving, despite changing circumstances. The job requires getting things done quickly and dealing with a variety of activities. Self-assurance and the attitude to consciously guide towards results while constantly solving problems and engaging the commitment of others is essential in this position. Last, but not least, you are outgoing, balanced and have a persuasive communication style.
