As a Senior Data Engineer - AI & Databricks , you will help shape how AI is adopted across Danfoss Climate Solutions, especially within our global sales organization.
Working as part of a global team of data, analytics, and AI professionals, you will build and evolve a trusted, scalable, and well-governed Databricks platform that enables sales teams across multiple regions and functions to turn data into actionable insights. Your work will support use cases such as sales forecasting, pipeline visibility, and customer insights, helping teams make faster, data-driven decisions.
By ensuring the platform is secure, high-quality, and continuously improving, you will enable reliable data products and Generative AI solutions that drive business value. Working closely with data engineers, analysts, product owners, and business stakeholders, you will help establish best practices and scale AI adoption across the organization.
Success in this role means delivering trusted, AI-ready data products that strengthen governance, accelerate AI adoption, and support better business decisions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and improve Databricks governance, including Unity Catalog, data access, security, and data quality
- Design and maintain scalable data architecture, ensuring best practices across data models, tables, and pipelines
- Enhance Genie spaces (AI-powered knowledge tools) by improving content, entity matching, and answer quality for end users
- Partner with cross-functional teams to enable adoption of data products and AI solutions that support data-driven sales decisions
- Evaluate and implement new Databricks and AI capabilities to improve platform performance and deliver measurable business value
What We're Looking For
- Experience with Databricks or similar cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Synapse), including Unity Catalog and data governance practices
- Strong SQL and Python skills, with hands-on experience building scalable data models and modern ETL pipelines
- Proven ability to design and manage data platforms that enable analytics or AI use cases in a business environment
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders, translating data and AI capabilities into practical business solutions
- Fluent in English, with strong communication skills and a proactive interest in applying emerging AI technologies
