The Impact You'll Make
As our new Senior Development Engineer, you will play a key role in developing innovative pressure sensor solutions that help customers operate more efficiently, reliably, and sustainably. By transforming customer needs and regulatory requirements into robust products, you will help bring next-generation industrial sensing technologies from concept to reality while contributing to Danfoss' mission of enabling a connected and digital future.
Working within our R&D Pressure Technology team, you will influence the design and performance of pressure sensors used in demanding industrial applications, ensuring they meet high standards for cost, quality, reliability, and customer value.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you'll work across the entire product development lifecycle, collaborating with colleagues, suppliers, and customers to create innovative sensor solutions.
You will:
- Lead the electrical development of industrial pressure sensors from concept through design validation, balancing performance, reliability, and cost targets
- Design electronic hardware including schematics, prototyping and testing
- Plan and execute design verification activities, including electrical and EMC testing, analysis of results, and documentation of findings
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across R&D, quality, process technology, product management, procurement, and external manufacturing partners
- Translate customer applications, technical requirements, and regulatory needs into practical product solutions and continuous product improvements
You may occasionally engage directly with customers to troubleshoot technical challenges and gain deeper insight into application requirements.
