Danfoss is looking for an experienced and self-driven Supplier Quality Engineer to join our quality team in HEX DK, where you will play a significant role in sharing your knowledge and best practices in quality when it comes to industrial manufacturing environment.

You will work out from our Danfoss Campus in Kolding (DK) and travel to suppliers can be expected.

Job Responsibilities

As our new Supplier Quality Engineer your main focus will be building up supplier quality by implementing necessary procedures and quality tolls to ensure the right quality of our suppliers. You will have the opportunity to influent the process and we expect you to bring your knowledge into play.

Furthermore, but not limited to, you will have the responsibilities to  
•    Maintain procedures, processes, and tools for supplier quality as a part of our quality management system
•    Implementing supplier quality processes in HEX business
•    Support procurement in suppliers’ assessment and selection
•    Monitor and analyze supplier quality performance based on supplier quality KPI’s
•    Define quality improvements projects with poor performing suppliers
•    Deliver training of quality awareness, tools and Danfoss requirements to suppliers
•    Perform supplier process audit
•    Ensure that quality and PPAP requirements are understood by suppliers
•    Lead and support 8D problem solving, ensuring continuously improvements 


Further to strengthen of our new development and change processes, you will also present an important role supporting supplier quality.

Background & Skills

To be considered for this position, we expect you to have a technical background, combined with minimum 3 years of working experience with supplier quality management in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Additionally, you bring:
•    Solid experience working and collaborate with suppliers across cultures and countries
•    Solid experience in 8D problem solving
•    Profound knowledge of IAFT 16949 and the related quality tools
•    ISO9001 or IAFT experienced internal auditor
•    Experience with SAP would be beneficial
•    Capability to understand and interpretate engineering drawings
•    Good communication and writing skills in Danish and English
