Job Description

Danfoss is seeking a committed and energized Process Engineer to support the factory team to achieve productivity improvement by using the DBS One Company Approach. In this role, you will be reporting directly to the Production Manager with focus on improving the current processes. You will be also co-working with the team leaders and foreman together with quality to assure the company standards and production processes. Further you will be part of the optimization “lean” team within the site including company management and connection to the Danfoss DSB – continuous improvement community.

In this position, you will be located within our Bock Compressors Czech manufacturing plant in Kostelec, Czech Republic.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.  

  • At least once per year participate in identifying the improvement potential across all shifts, with the involvement of the local factory team, and updated throughout the year.
  • Maintain the factory Roadmap (owned by the Plant Manager) that lists all activities related to improving Productivity.
  • Facilitate creation of quarterly Tactical Implementation Plans (TIPs) with main activities from the Roadmap 
  • Maintain Hourly Registration targets and proper use of Hourly Registration for urgent operation and to capture deviations
  • Support the factory team in solving root causes of  production deviations and restore performance to targeted levels or continuously improve.
  • Ensure RCPS boards are updated daily according to standard and that deviation to targets is a main source in driving RCPS activities All RCPS reviews to be conducted with full and active team participation
  • Ensure weekly Shop Floor Audit and review results of audits conducted by others. Promt action from leaders to address findings in Shop Floor Audits.

  • Bachelor's degree within Engineering/Manufacturing Technologies or similar
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Technical English is a must
  • Experience within similar position in manufacturing company is a great advantage
