Job Description
Danfoss Climate Solutions (Commercial Compressors) is looking for a Senior Supplier/Customer Quality Engineer who is pragmatic, fact based and motivated by applying technical skills and coaching Quality methodologies to ensure high quality standard towards Supplier development and Customer satisfaction.

You will become part of a local quality team consisting of 2 skilled and committed colleagues, where you will play an important role in managing non-quality but even more important to our eyes, building quality!
In this position you will play a driving role in developing our existing suppliers to reach new levels of performance, on boarding of new suppliers and supporting the introduction of new parts together with a cross-functional team as well as supporting Procurement in chosen the right suppliers and long term supervise supplier performance. Furthermore, you will manage customer claims and drive activities across the factory to enhance our own performance towards our customers, by supervising the implementation of corrective actions across our supply chain. You will play a significant role in sharing your knowledge about manufacturing processes and best practices in quality.
You will also actively be building quality by spreading the right mindset to the stakeholders across the organization and contributing to the yearly improvement plan definition and execution.
Your working place will be in our factory in Kostelec, Czech Republic. Approx. 60 days of annual travel must be expected.

Job Responsibilities
In addition, you will:
- Support the direct sourcing process
- Monitor and develop supplier performance and capabilities
- Conduct 2nd party audits
- Take part in Cost Down and Change Control projects
- Facilitate Supplier PPAPs
- Drive and communicate customer 8Ds
- Drive supplier requested Change Controls (CCs)
- Managing Supplier and Customer Waivers
- Support problem solving activities internally and at suppliers
Background & Skills
To be considered for this role, you should:
- Have an engineering background or another relevant technical education, preferable along with approx. 5 years of experience within a Quality Function,
- Be familiar with ISO9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016 and quality tools such as 8D methodology, Control Plans, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP etc.,
- Be able to understand and interpretate engineering drawings,
- Preferably have experience from an automotive environment.

- Finally, you master English fluently, both verbally and in writing & Czech is (ideally) your native language or you can speak Czech fluently.
