Do you have experience, or a strong desire, to build and lead the development of complex, robust, and scalable software systems in high-responsibility technical environments? Then this role might be for you.

For our Danfoss Climate Solutions segment, based in Sofia, we are looking for a Fullstack Developer Lead with solid experience in developing complex web applications within structured and technically demanding environments. The role requires strong end-to-end system thinking, a pragmatic approach to problem-solving, and the ability to drive technical decisions in evolving contexts.

You will take an active role in defining software architecture and evolving existing solutions, directly contributing to product quality, scalability, and long-term sustainability. You will also act as a key technical reference for a growing team, supporting skill development and alignment of engineering practices.

The position follows a hybrid working model, with regular on-site presence required.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the end-to-end development of fullstack TypeScript applications, ensuring technical consistency and high overall solution quality.
  • Define, evolve, and maintain scalable, robust, and sustainable software architectures aligned with product needs and long-term direction.
  • Ensure high engineering standards across code quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability of delivered solutions.
  • Collaborate closely on the integration between frontend, backend, and cloud systems in complex, distributed environments.
  • Drive and reinforce best engineering practices, including testing, CI/CD, and DevOps, contributing to the continuous improvement of the engineering team.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Fullstack or Senior Engineer in structured, international environments; experience in industrial contexts is considered a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React or equivalent).
  • Solid experience in backend development and API design (REST, WebSockets, or similar technologies).
  • Good understanding of distributed systems, cloud environments, and CI/CD pipelines; experience with Microsoft Azure is a strong advantage.
  • Good command of both English, written and spoken.
