Job Responsibilities

As a systems’ engineer on our team, you have the chance to design engineered, model-based systems in support of a wide variety of customer missions. 


Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize our engineering practices. You’ll develop your skills in model-based systems engineering and digital engineering while gaining experience in solving client problems. 


Grow your skills by merging technical leadership and systems engineering to create system models. Join our team and help turn requirements into accomplishments that will drive efficient HVAC solution and district heating networks even more into a green solution.

 

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Complete discrete MBD (Model Based Design) tasks to meet design and project objectives.
  • Design thermodynamic systems or sub-systems for future district heating networks.
  • Complete MBD tasks to meet design and project objectives.
  • Develop the future way of making applications for Actuators.

You will be a part of the Actuator Product team and a member of the MBD team, regularly sharing your experience and learning from other team members.

Desirable experience in non-SW fields: 

  • HVAC application knowledge/ Hands on experience with hydronic and HVAC systems (big plus).
  • Familiarity with electrical installations or better BMS (building automation system).
  • Strong understanding of control systems, signal processing, and system dynamics.
  • Understands the fundamentals of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics.
  • Hands on experience with any Mechatronic systems.
  • Knowledge of control theory in dynamical systems.
  • Ability to work hands on in Lab, field tests execution and support.
     

Necessary skill set:

  • Experience with Matlab/Simulink is considered a must.
  • Experience with embedded software engineering, benefit if it is C code.
  • Knowledge of model-based design processes functional block diagram tools (or learn it fast).
  • Familiarity with CICD (open the point)  processes and testing.
  • Good in English both written and spoken. 
  • Education within Mechatronic, controlled systems or similar engineering (experience is more important).

  • “Can do” attitude. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Location: Ljubljana and occasional travelling to Denmark and customers visits if needed.
