Are you ready to shape the future of Procurement and play a key role in strengthening the competitiveness of Danfoss Trata?

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Director to lead the transformation of our Procurement organization in Ljubljana, Slovenia. In this highly visible leadership role, you will hold end-to-end accountability for procurement performance across Danfoss Trata, translating business and supply chain priorities into a clear procurement strategy and strong execution.

You will work closely with senior leaders across the organization and lead a capable procurement team, with a strong focus on supplier performance, resilience, cost competitiveness and long-term value creation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and execute the Danfoss Trata procurement strategy, aligned with business growth, technology and operational priorities.
• Strengthen supply resilience through supplier risk management, dual sourcing, supplier-base optimization and continuity planning.
• Drive value creation through cost optimization, competitive sourcing, commercial excellence, value engineering and cash-flow improvements.
• Lead strategic supplier management, including sourcing, negotiations, contracts, performance and key partnerships.
• Build a competitive and future-ready supplier ecosystem supporting quality, innovation, capacity, sustainability and speed to market.
• Establish strong procurement governance and collaboration across Category Management, Project Procurement, Quality, Operations and R&D.
• Act as a strategic business partner to senior leadership, providing market intelligence, fact-based insights and recommendations.
• Lead and develop the Procurement organization while accelerating digitalization, data-driven performance management and accountability.

What We're Looking For

• Significant experience in senior Procurement or Supply Chain leadership roles within an international industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in strategic procurement, sourcing, supplier management, negotiations and cost optimization.
• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams through transformation and organizational change.
• Strong understanding of supplier risk, quality, delivery performance, supply resilience and cash-flow optimization.
• Ability to operate effectively across Operations, Engineering, R&D, Quality and Supply Chain.
• Strong business and commercial acumen, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and performance management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at senior leadership level.
• Visible and resilient leadership style, combining strategic thinking, clear communication, sound judgement and strong execution.
