Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and driven Sales Engineer to be based in our offices in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The person will be responsible for development of Danfoss Heating solutions through Indirect sales Key Accounts and Non-Residential system solution business in a defined territory or customer channel in sales for Slovenia area, to achieve our short - and long-term targets.  


Your main purpose will be taking care for sales growth at existing customers and seeking for new customers and industries for implementation of the product. You will execute projects, train and educate customers and will be responsible for warranty and claim handling.
 

Main Responsibilities:

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

 

  • Satisfying customers and organization on time and performance to:
    - Develop market and present Danfoss solutions.
    - Getting new orders, assuring orders are entered in ordering system.
    - Customer training and education (before and during project execution) on heating systems.
    - Technical & application support to the customers.
  • Close cooperation with local Danfoss Heating partners to deliver the expected level of service to the customers.  
  • Ensure that the local Danfoss solution and project execution are recognized by customers as center of Know How on products, services and applications through training, education & support to customers with the goal being preferably specified.
  • Use Danfoss tools for reporting, forecasting and customer relationship management: Salesforce, Opportunity management, Concur…

The ideal candidate possesses these skills:

  • Bachelor or above degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent field.
  • Advantage is adequate knowledge of Heating and cooling systems and HVAC in general.
  • Strong commercial insight and business understanding.
  • High energy, self-motivated, persistent and ability to influence others.
  • Structured mindset to secure consistency and strong follow-ups with performance tracking.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with partners and good communication.
  • Ability to operate in a matrix environment.
  • Frequent business travel (Driving license B).
  • Active Slovenian and English language skills.
