The Impact You'll Make
As our Global SIOP Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the SIOP process drives better business decisions, supports sustainable growth and keeps demand, supply and financial plans aligned. You’ll own the SIOP cycle for one of our Product Lines within the Hydronics Division — bringing the right stakeholders together, creating transparency and turning discussions into clear actions.
Your impact? You’ll help the business see what is coming, understand the gaps and make informed decisions before they become problems. By connecting sales, demand, supply, inventory and financial perspectives, you’ll help the organization balance customer needs, operational capabilities and business goals.
This is a global, cross-functional role with no direct reports, where your ability to influence, facilitate and build authority in a matrix organization will be just as important as your supply chain expertise.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the global SIOP cycle, including preparing and facilitating pre-SIOP and monthly Executive Decision-Making Meetings, and ensuring actions and decisions are clearly captured and followed through.
- Oversee medium- and long-term planning, bringing together demand, supply, inventory and financial perspectives to maintain a transparent and aligned business plan.
- Monitor KPIs, dashboards and planning performance, providing portfolio insights, analytics and visibility to cross-functional stakeholders and highlighting risks, gaps and opportunities.
- Lead root cause analysis and improvement actions, identifying issues affecting delivery performance, inventory and supply chain effectiveness and driving agreed actions toward resolution.
- Identify opportunities to improve the SIOP process, support new product launches and phase-outs, contribute to planning tools and system enhancements, and leverage industry best practices to continuously improve the way we plan.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of Supply Chain experience, ideally across SIOP, S&OP, IBP, demand planning, inventory or supply chain planning, with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant background.
- Strong global leadership or stakeholder management experience, with at least 2 years of experience leading people, processes or global initiatives and the ability to build authority in a highly matrixed organization.
- In-depth understanding of demand and supply planning, including the relationship between sales, inventory, production capacity, supply chain flexibility and business priorities.
- Good understanding of financial planning and product lifecycles, including how demand and supply plans connect to financial plans, new product launches and product phase-outs.
- Strong analytical, communication and influencing skills, combined with a good understanding of ERP systems and planning processes, and fluent English.
What You'll Get from Us
- Global visibility and real business impact, with the opportunity to influence decisions across a Product Line and connect stakeholders from Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Finance.
- A role with significant ownership and influence, where you can lead a global process and drive outcomes without relying on formal reporting lines.
- Exposure to the full business planning picture, connecting operational realities with customer demand, financial goals, product strategy and long-term business growth.
- Opportunities to shape and improve how Danfoss plans, including involvement in process improvements, system enhancements, new product launches and cross-portfolio initiatives.
- A flexible and international working environment, including flexible working hours, remote work opportunities, pension and insurance benefits, communication package, annual bonus, Employee Resource Groups and Employee Referral Program.
