Job Description
Our Longmont, CO location is seeking Buyer/Planner to join the Electronic Components business unit to accurately purchase components, plan and create the production schedule to meet customer delivery expectations. As the Buyer/Planner, you will work in a collaborative, cross functional environment to ensure inventory integrity and schedule accuracy while also managing suppliers. In addition, you will be participate in continuous improvement projects to improve cost, inventory levels and supply chain performance.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $75,000 - $85,000/year. Base salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Place purchase orders with suppliers and follow-up when necessary to avoid stockouts.
- Ensure accuracy of purchase order due dates.
- Promise customer orders based on the availability of material and capacity.
- Release production orders to manufacturing based on material availability.
- Work with manufacturing to ensure on-time delivery of products.
- Evaluate, recommend and implement improvements to lower inventory, reduce stockouts and to improve on-time delivery.
- Maintain master data information in SAP.
- Create and/or publish planning reports

- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain & Operations Management or related field is required.
