Commercial Order Coordinator

Job Description
This position is responsible for maintaining and communicating order status for all orders placed to the US Supply Chain and for ensuring an appropriate supply of resale items and spare parts to the Danfoss Sales Groups. These Sales Groups are both domestic and international.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Order entry and maintenance in order entry module of ERP (include review for accuracy). 30%
- Order expediting and status notification (include internal follow-up, customer contact). 20-30%
- Stockroom planning for resale goods and spare parts (includes establishing/maintaining inventory). 10-20%
- Quotation, both availability and shipment method. 15%
- Issuing credits/return authorization for customer returns. 5%
- General assistance as required (shipping tracers, print invoices/pack lists for rush orders, etc.). 5%
- Perform other duties as required. <5%
Background & Skills
The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. Two years in customer service or related office experience.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, and percentages.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Experience in the use of personal computers (Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook, and Excel preferred)
- Experience in the use of ERP system preferred.
- Excellent written skills are essential for effective e-mail communication.
- Excellent verbal communication skills are essential for phone conversations with customers.
- Time management skills are required for working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Good typing skills are essential.
- Must be able to function well in a team or group environment.
- Ability to speak/write in multiple languages preferred.
