In this role, you'll collaborate with experienced engineers throughout the product development lifecycle, from design and testing to validation and implementation. You'll work in a hands-on engineering environment where software meets power electronics, gaining valuable experience with both development and lab-based testing while contributing to a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Develop and support embedded firmware for Variable Frequency Drives by contributing to software architecture, design, implementation, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create product requirements, test plans, and validation activities that ensure high-quality software performance.
  • Participate in software verification and testing, including bench testing with low-voltage equipment and validation of high-power drive systems in the engineering laboratory.
  • Document technical decisions, project activities, and development progress to support knowledge sharing and product traceability.
  • Continuously expand your technical expertise through training, hands-on learning, and collaboration with experienced engineers while contributing to a strong safety-focused culture.

What We're Looking For

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; coursework or exposure to embedded software systems is preferred.
  • Experience with embedded software development, software testing, or software tools, gained through professional experience, internships, academic projects, or coursework.
  • Hands-on laboratory experience using equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and function generators.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory safety practices, along with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to work successfully in a global and cross-functional setting.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000-$85,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
