Job Description

The Global Supply Chain Technology Center is looking for a Project Manager for our Loves Park, IL site. You will be a part of a Global team with 80+ employees, that are responsible for all processes and technologies included in the production of our products.
You will be involved with leading NPI, Operations and Technology projects. We work with R&D, Sales, Supply Chain, Suppliers and Customers on developing new products and setting up manufacturing lines globally.
 

Job Responsibilities

•    Works as part of a project team on New Product Introduction or leads Operations and Technology projects.
•    Defining project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities.
•    Defining resource requirements and managing resource availability & allocation – both internal and third party.
•    Outlining a budget based on requirements and tracking costs to deliver project on budget.
•    Preparing a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities.
•    Managing delivery of the project according to this plan.
•    Tracking project and providing regular reports on project status to project team and key stakeholders.
•    Managing and adjusting for any changes in project scope, schedule and / or budget.
•    Identifying and mitigating potential risks.
•    Managing the relationships and communication within the team and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction.

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or similar technology. 
•    7+ years of experience working in manufacturing/production environment and leading cross-functional projects.
•    Strengths in production/manufacturing systems and logistics.
•    Experience with electronic drives/frequency converter assembly, test, quality and/or project experience is a plus.
•    Knowledge of and experience in ISO, TS16949 and/or IATF quality systems.
•    Experience with Project management tools, Agile and Scrum.
•    Good knowledge of key IT tools (MS Office, SAP, MES systems)
•    Ability to work effectively in a high quality, deadline driven environment
•    Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a team in a matrix organization.
•    Global mindset and excellent communication skills to efficiently communicate across all levels in the organization.
•    Good time management and project management skills to organize and plan effectively.
