As our new NAM DLS Intern, you will help create smarter tools, resources, and solutions that make it easier for customers and service teams to resolve technical challenges quickly and effectively. Your work will directly contribute to a better support experience while helping shape future service and repair capabilities across North America.
 
This is a hands-on opportunity to apply your technical knowledge in a real-world environment. You will gain exposure to variable frequency drives, control systems, troubleshooting, and repair operations, while working alongside experienced engineers and technical specialists committed to innovation and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Develop and test customer self-service tools that improve the support experience and help customers resolve issues more quickly.
  • Partner with technical support and repair teams to identify customer needs and transform service insights into practical troubleshooting solutions.
  • Support the development and enhancement of control systems for the North American repair facility, helping strengthen future service and repair capabilities.
  • Build hands-on experience with variable frequency drives, commissioning software, electrical systems, and control technologies used across a wide range of industries.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technical specialists to improve troubleshooting processes, technical documentation, and support resources for customers and service teams.

What We're Looking For

 

  • Currently pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (electrical preferred),  Electronics, or a related technical field.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical test equipment, including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, or similar tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and control schematics.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a proactive approach to learning and working collaboratively in a team environment.

  4. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $22 to $26, commensurate with completed school year. Other benefits vary by country and contract, but they’re worth asking about—we think they’re pretty great.
