You will guide a team of process and controls engineers while delivering new equipment, automation, and product introductions. Your leadership will directly influence safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost across the factory.

This is an opportunity to combine people leadership, manufacturing engineering, Lean improvement, and advanced technology in a role where your decisions create visible, measurable results.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and improve manufacturing processes across assembly, machining, and testing, including factory layouts, material flow, workstation design, line balancing, capacity modeling, cycle-time optimization, and standard work.

  • Deliver new equipment, automation, and product launches by coordinating equipment design, selection, installation, commissioning, validation, and safe start-up with production, design engineering, R&D, EHS, suppliers, and system integrators.

  • Strengthen process safety and quality through risk assessments, engineering controls, error-proofing, guarding, automated interlocks, PFMEAs, control plans, equipment qualifications, work instructions, and compliance with applicable quality standards, including IATF.

  • Advance digital and Lean manufacturing using MES, data analytics, robotics, PLCs, Kaizen, 5S, root-cause problem solving, and process capability measures such as Cp and Cpk to reduce waste, scrap, ergonomic risk, and production losses.

  • At least 1 year of experience leading complex manufacturing projects involving custom machine design, commercial equipment selection, systems integration, installation, commissioning, and equipment start-up.

  • Practical knowledge of PLCs, manufacturing execution systems, assembly processes, industrial electrical systems, and CAD/CAM tools, along with proficiency in Microsoft software.

  • The ability to lead engineers and collaborate across functions, communicate clearly at all levels of an organization, listen effectively, and solve complex manufacturing problems using data and sound engineering judgment.

  • The flexibility to support a multi-shift manufacturing operation when business needs, equipment installations, product launches, or production priorities require it
