As a Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping and optimizing manufacturing operations while driving the successful implementation of new technologies, processes, and product launches. What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and develop a team of Process and Controls Engineers, providing coaching, performance management, and technical direction to support business and operational goals.
- Drive the design, optimization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, including assembly, machining, testing, facility layouts, material flow, and standard work.
- Oversee the introduction of new products, equipment, and automation solutions, ensuring successful installation, validation, and safe production launch.
- Champion Lean Manufacturing initiatives by leading Kaizen events, line balancing, capacity planning, cycle-time improvements, waste reduction, and data-driven process optimization.
- Ensure manufacturing processes meet safety, quality, ergonomic, and regulatory standards, while maintaining critical documentation such as PFMEAs, control plans, work instructions, and equipment qualifications.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 10+ years of manufacturing, process, or project engineering experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience leading engineering projects involving custom manufacturing equipment, machine design, automation integration, equipment installation, and startup activities.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, PLC systems, MES platforms, assembly operations, and industrial equipment.
- Experience using CAD/CAM software, Microsoft Office applications, and working with industrial electrical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, collaborate effectively across functions, and communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
