As a Mechatronics Engineering Intern, you’ll play a hands-on role in advancing the performance and reliability of centrifugal compressor technology. Your work will directly support the engineering team as we enhance existing products and ensure they meet the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and quality.
You’ll contribute to real-world engineering challenges—from 3D modeling and analysis to prototype testing—helping us make data-driven decisions that improve customer outcomes. This is an opportunity to see your work move quickly from concept to validation.

This is an in-office role based at our Turbocor Global Headquarters in Tallahassee, FL
What You’ll Be Doing
- Creating 3D models and drawings that support product enhancements and ensure accurate, high-quality documentation.
- Running structural analyses using FEA tools to help validate design performance and improve product reliability.
- Supporting prototype builds and test activities to verify design intent and gather critical performance data.
- Preparing test reports and engineering documentation that inform decisions and guide project progress.
- Reviewing bills of materials and supporting tooling improvements to enhance manufacturing and assembly outcomes.
What We're Looking For
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering.
- Working knowledge of 3D modeling software such as CATIA or NX.
- Familiarity with structural FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS Mechanical).
- Understanding of GD&T principles.
- Strong communication and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and related tools.
