The Impact You'll Make

As our Senior Engineer – AI Agent Platform, you’ll play a key role in shaping how Danfoss builds and uses AI agents across the organization. You’ll create the platform capabilities, integrations and reusable building blocks that make it easier for product teams and domain experts to turn AI opportunities into practical solutions.

Your impact? You’ll help teams automate workflows, work more efficiently and solve complex business challenges with AI — without needing to build everything from scratch. Your work will make AI more accessible, scalable and valuable across Danfoss.

You’ll collaborate with senior software engineers, platform and product teams, DevOps and Data Engineering, while taking ownership of key AI platform capabilities and integrations. Together, you’ll help move Danfoss toward a more AI-enabled, productive and innovative future.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop AI-powered tools, integrations and automation that improve engineering productivity and accelerate adoption of our AI platform.
• Design and build reusable tools and capabilities that enable non-technical teams and domain experts to create and use AI agents.
• Build and maintain integrations between AI systems and platform services using APIs, MCP servers and other modern integration patterns.
• Develop reusable agent templates, workflows and orchestration patterns that can be adopted across different products and business areas.
• Partner with product teams to introduce, improve and scale AI-powered capabilities while ensuring they are reliable, secure and maintainable.

What We're Looking For

• 3–5 years of experience developing cloud-native backend services, platform capabilities or similar production-grade software solutions.
• Hands-on experience integrating APIs, services and data sources into production applications, with a strong understanding of scalable and maintainable software design.
• Solid understanding of modern AI application patterns, including LLMs, tool calling, RAG and AI agents.
• Practical experience with at least one AI agent framework, such as LangGraph, LangChain or a similar technology, and a willingness to continuously explore emerging AI capabilities.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, product and business teams.
