Job Description
Danfoss is seeking a hands-on, flexible Mechanical Engineer to join our team. You will work in a team-oriented environment and will have exposure to many different processes and tasks.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Responsible for contributing to the design and development of new enclosed drive (panel) products and existing panel product maintenance
- Research, design, evaluate mechanical and electromechanical products, equipment, systems and processes
- Prepare designs, specifications, and recommendations for development of new and maintenance of existing enclosed drive products and panels
- Confer with engineers or other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, or provide technical information
- Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions and to reduce cost
- Conduct research that tests or analyzes the feasibility, design, operation, or performance of equipment, components, or systems
- Participate in the construction and testing of prototype products

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 1 year experience working in product design and development and/or engineering research
