Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Leads the Company’s Internet of Things (IoT) Connectivity strategy development and execution,
- Lead the cross-functional IoT Connectivity Leadership Team
- Build strategy and roadmap for IoT solutions including hardware, software, and connectivity infrastructure portfolio to meet off-highway needs, management of key relationships, identification of new partners and potential M&A targets
- IoT solutions throughout the whole life cycle (ideation, sales ramp up, harvesting, phase-out)
- Strong focus on business development of AVIoT solutions, including lead generation, opportunity development, and customer senior leadership relationships
- Industry networking to strengthen position as IoT leader
- Monitor and engage in establishing policy and regulations for the industry
- Manage given budget to achieve defined objectives
- Identify/monitor industry trends, analyze potential scenarios, and respond proactively to externalities
- Identify opportunities and threats
- Provide recommendations complete with risk analysis
- Initiate and drive strategic projects across the organization to further IoT Connectivity
- Engage, support and scale business development and sales teams across Danfoss

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- 4 years' experience in business development or IoT Connectivity development in the technology or transportation sector, including systems and software required to automate a vehicle
- 4 years' experience with negotiating and closing complex deals and managing a cross-functional team
- 3 years' experience with product management in the off-highway OEM market
- Experience may be gained concurrently
- Permanent U.S. work authorization
