Job Title:  Production Operator / 2nd Shift

The Impact You'll Make

Assembles devices requiring adjusting and fitting parts to close tolerance.  May set-up and operate machines for sub-assembly, final assembly and calibration operations.  May direct other operators with same or lesser skills.  Works with Inspection and Production Control Departments.

This is a 2nd Shift position, with a pay range from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.  

What You’ll Be Doing

  • High School diploma is required; vocational training preferred, but not required. 
  • 18+ months using assembly practices, procedures, techniques, and skills.
  • FIFO training, Safety training, TPM training, Contamination training, SAP Training, DMR process training
  • Solder/wire tinning certification (levels 4 & 6 or higher) Zero! D Training
  • ESD Training, Certified on Production Processes.
  • Print accurate product labels
  • Good English language communication skills, verbal and written

What We're Looking For

Assembles devices from sub-assembly to calibration and final assembly, and repairs finished devices and sub-assemblies
Schedules products through operations and inspection and performs set-up of standard and special purpose equipment.
Trains operators in assembly and sub-assembly questions; provides recommendations for improvements/changes in assembly and equipment used in assembly
Maintains equipment used in area of responsibility
Schedules and performs maintenance as require.
Able to work from material bills, standard work, assembly process sheets, instruction manuals, models or from sketches or blueprints, with assistance from supervisor or the Engineering Department
Works under general supervision and is subject to process and final inspection and checks
Responsible for handling delicate, hazardous, and static sensitive materials appropriately.
