Members of the NGI Office Team are responsible for maintaining and supporting scalable, maintainable, and highly available network, server and client architectures that meet business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- The NGI Manager partners with technology and business leaders in developing networking systems; implementing and maintaining overall IT Networks; supporting the networking component of QTC application platform, and other IT networking strategies and standards for the organization
- The NGI Manager works with all IT stakeholders as well as Finance and Business Units
- This role is also responsible for staff oversight to ensure new IT network operations plans, policies, procedures, and transition/migration plans are consistent with the IT departmental goals as well as alignment to overall company goals and objectives
- Perform day-to-day mentoring of the IT Network team
- Coordinate with external vendors/contractors to meet organizational goals
- Oversee the implementation of network security and audit at the corporate level, and ensure sufficient measures are in place to protect the systems, data, and other information assets
- Direct agile scrum sprint planning to provide feedback on priorities and work closely with scrum master and product owners on delivery of the outlined user stories and points to ensure predictable sprints
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Background & Skills
The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- 6 or more years previous Infrastructure engineering experience
- Experience with enterprise-wide security, NIST and HIPAA compliance and working closely with internal and external system auditors
- ITIL v4 certification required
