The Impact You'll Make
The prmiary function of this position is to operate the wire winders for applying hose wire to braider bobbins.
This is a 2nd Shift position.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform necessary service functions for Wire Wind Operator
- Clean and lube the bobbin cart wheels when needed, and lubricate all lube points
- Perform all daily inspections and setting the wire guide beaks and rollers correctly
- Check the wire oiler periodically; verify and adjust tension settings
- Check wire cards on each machine at start of shift, and use the correct bobbin type
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Assist other operators when possible, cross training for flexibility
- Work within all safety and quality guidelines
What We're Looking For
Required (Basic) Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- One (1) year manufacturing experience
Job Criteria
Ability to communicate effectively with internal personnel and external personnel
