Job Description
Danfoss is seeking a logistic Planner , who will play a key role in ensuring an high level of on-time delivery meeting to customer and optimized inventory in an lower level.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Coordinate with SOP manager and sales for Forecast accuracy monitor and improvement
- Maintain and update Master Plan in SAP regularly based on sales forecast and stock fulfillment level
- Promise customer orders based on the availability of material and capacity.
- Release production orders to manufacturing based on material availability and production plan
- Work with production manufacturing to ensure on-time delivery of products.
- Coordinate with supplier and issue purchase forecast, purchase order and follows up the delivery date to ensure material availability with right time and right quantity.
- Evaluate, recommend and implement improvements to lower inventory, reduce stockouts and to improve on-time delivery.
- Close cooperate with SAP project team and Headquarter for master data creation and maintenance and PP, MM and SD module set up and test in SAP .
- Continue DPP improvement activity involvement
Background & Skills
The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain & Operations Management or related field is required.
- 5 years working experience in production and logistic planning function.
- SAP experience is preferred
- Passionate about learning and continuously improve skills.
- Organized and process oriented.
- Professional and outstanding communication skills in all aspects and situations especially, when dealing with customers, suppliers and co-workers.
- Good command of verbal and written English
