Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Review demand forecast timely and generate production forecast.
- Review and prepare material purchase requests to ensure materials are ordered on time.
- Review and monitor inventory to control inventory target.
- Discover the material shortage at least one month in advance and keep related teams informed.
- Base on customer demand and inventory requirement to pull in or pull out material delivery, track material kitting status
- Organize weekly material meeting to review material shortage/overage and follow up defined actions.
- Create master plan and production plan according to customer orders and forecast.
- Daily release production orders to workshop to ensure smooth production and high delivery performance.
- Perform all tasks directly involved in preparation for production, taking account of the order situation, production capacities, stock levels, delivery for an optimum production sequence.
- Customer order confirmation to order fulfillment team to meet customer request.
- Production capacity calculation, balance, and control.
- Ensure accuracy of item card, BOM and routing in SAP
- Follow up product engineering change.
Background & Skills
- Education background: Bachelor degree or above.
- More than 5 years relevant experience of production planning, material planning, and inventory control.
- Good English skills, both written and spoken.
- High sense of teamwork, good ability in communication.
- Positive working attitude to customer-oriented serving mind-set.
- Lean concept and continuous improvement process in mind.
- Good at teamwork and collaboration with International team.
- Have experience on SAP with PP&MM module and office tools
