Job Description

Are you ready to seize a new opportunity within Danfoss?  As R&D Engineer for Danfoss you will focus on designing and process optimization.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

  • Responsible for power modules design
  • Design of DCB chip layout and bond wire for module variants
  • Responsible for BOM and drawing maintenance of current power modules which produced in SEMIKRON-DANFOSS China
  • Responsible for production process adjustment and optimization, e.g. soldering and wire bonding
  • Support global purchasing department in selection of Chinese supplier
  • Mechanical technical supports for other departments
  • Close cooperation with HQ R&D

Background & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • At least 2 years R&D work experience of power module design and development
  • Familiar with power module design principle, design process, materials selection and production technique
  • Familiar with manufacturing process development like soldering and wire bonding
  • Familiar with materials properties like plastic for power module housing
  • Familiar with housing, DCB and bond wire design of power modules
  • Familiar with BOM and drawing maintenance of power modules
  • Basic knowledge about power electronic devices like IGBT, MOSFET, Thyristor, Diode
  • Basic knowledge about electrical measurement on power modules
  • Basic knowledge about qualification test of power modules
  • Proficiency in CAD e.g. Solidworks
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Good communication skills. Team worker
  • Attention to details and engineering mindset
