Job Description

Working as a sales development manager, mainly focus on power electronics product (inverter, On Board charger and other high voltage power electronics) and motor for new energy commercial vehicle market. Familiar with AUTOSAR is preferred (Automotive open system architecture).  Work together with Corporate Sales & Marketing (Account Managers) in order to fulfil targets and execute on mutually agreed business activities, develop product and hotspot strategy, lead and drive as project manager for results to support growth target.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

  • Lead the value proposition for BU product and partner with account manager to drive NNW at key customers. ( Bus and Truck OEMs) 
  • Track key opportunity progress and initiate actions to secure new win target.
  • Work with BU leaders on price excellence, provides input on acceptable price levels with clear value propostion vs competitors, responsible for price strategy execution
    Competitor and market analysis
  • Support PMM for business case, PDP process and product launch plan, responsible for product launch to market activity execution.
  • Coordinate resource to achieve BU sales targets and SQDC (safety-quality-delivery-cost) targets.
  • Provide recommends and inputs on BU sales planning.
  • Conduct data analysis for potential focus application, define segmentation with priority.
  • Drive system value proposition assumption for Editron Focus Application.
  • Develop and support win plan as project manager for Focus Application, drive results as expected.
  • Develop product sales strategy including 4P (Product, Place, Promotion and Price) for hotspot.
  • Involve directly in sales activities for the Focus Application (target customer) where necessary.
     

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

  • Bachelor's degree in electric/automation/mechanical engineering.
  • Familiar with power electronics products for On Highway bus and truck markets, familiar with power electronics market needs and competitor's product.
  • 3+ years' experience as technical/engineering/product sales in power electronics/ motor market, bus and truck application power electronics sales background is preferred.
  • Good relationship with truck and bus OEMs is preferred.
