Job Description

Currently, we are looking for a Manager (m/f/d) Payroll & Administration at one of our locations in Germany (Flensburg, Neumünster, Hamburg, Offenbach, or Baden-Baden) or based remotely. In this role, you will lead the Payroll & Administration Team in Germany both functionally and disciplinarily.

Job Responsibilities

In this position, you will ensure payroll processing & master data management for employees across various business areas in Germany with your team. You will be the primary point of contact for your team, local management, and global HR functions concerning Payroll & Administration matters in Germany. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the EMEA Payroll & Administration functions. Internal interfaces will also involve coordination with Finance & Controlling departments, potentially with the management board, and participation committees. Furthermore, you will steer external payroll service providers and consultants, as well as managing cooperation with authorities & public interfaces.

Moreover, you will be involved in various regional or cross-regional projects, representing the interests of the region. You and your team will serve as a crucial interface regarding time management within the HR organization.

You will lead your team spread across multiple German locations, focusing on harmonizing processes & workflows and fostering a strong team spirit with continuous development for both the team as a whole and individual team members.

Background & Skills

You have extensive experience in payroll, electronic time tracking, as well as tax and social security law, and you are interested in transitioning into a management role?
Alternatively, you possess substantial leadership experience, fundamental knowledge in payroll matters, and are keen to contribute your expertise in change and project management?

  • Distinctive numerical understanding and a high level of customer orientation
  • Experience working in virtual teams and ideally in managing project teams or team members professionally
  • Experience in managing external service providers and consultants

  • Proficiency in using MS Office products
