As our Regional Business Development Manager for Data Center Power Conversion, you are responsible for building and scaling one of Danfoss' most strategic growth opportunities in Asia Pacific — creating pipeline, winning new accounts, and positioning Danfoss at the center of next-generation data center power architectures.
AI, hyperscale growth, and grid constraints are reshaping how data centers are powered — and Danfoss intends to lead that shift. You'll build this segment from the ground up, creating pipeline where none exists today across BESS integration, solid-state transformers, 800VDC systems, and power quality solutions.
This role matters now because the region's data center buildout is accelerating faster than its power infrastructure can keep pace — the specification decisions being made this year will shape the market for the next decade. As the segment scales, so does your remit, with a clear path toward regional leadership of a strategic growth business
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build the regional pipeline and go-to-market strategy for data center power conversion (BESS, SST, 800VDC), turning an empty pipeline into scalable, long-term business.
- Hunt and win new strategic accounts across hyperscalers, colocation providers, developers, EPCs, and utilities — securing early specification of Danfoss technologies.
- Develop a repeatable business model backed by a strong partner and integrator ecosystem across the data center value chain.
- Own the segment's sales targets, annual budgets, and quarterly rolling forecasts, delivering against clear growth plans.
- Translate industry trends and customer power challenges into commercially viable solutions, leveraging Danfoss' global expertise to specify-in and win.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Power, Energy, or Control Engineering.
- 8+ years in business development, strategic sales, or market development, with a proven track record creating pipeline and winning new markets.
- Direct experience in data centers, power infrastructure, energy storage, or power conversion systems, plus a working understanding of modern data center power architectures (BESS, UPS, DC systems, power quality, resilience).
- An existing network within the data center ecosystem — developers, hyperscalers, consultants, EPCs, integrators, and technology partners.
- Ability to engage senior stakeholders both technically and commercially, and to thrive in an ambiguous, high-growth, matrixed, multicultural environment
