Job Description

We have an immediate opportunity for a ​Cycle Counter Technician ​to join us at our diverse team in Newbern, TN. The Cycle Counter leader is responsible for team performance in areas of inventory control, team building, and employee engagement. This Cycle Counter will also work closely with our SCM and Operations team to ensure our internal cycle count procedures are robust and adhered to.

 

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

  • Daily recycle rubber and PE separation, to keep collars ready for slitter process.
  • Transferring recycle rubber material into correct operation.
  • Stock PE material ready for recycle operation.
  • Use data and other inputs to identify, prioritize, and deliver on key business needs related to inventory control and accuracy.
  • Be responsible for the root cause investigations for inventory loss and work collectively with key stakeholders to drive improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with SCM to manage monthly/quarterly excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory analysis and disposition.
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders analyzing the plants Safety Stock reset on a quarterly basis.
  • Analyse the root cause material movement transaction errors and work collectively with Material Handling to drive improvement.
  • Foster a continuous improvement culture.
