The Impact You'll Make

You will play a critical role in supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality rubber manufacturing operations by operating mill equipment and ensuring consistent material processing. Your work directly impacts production output, product quality, and continuous improvement efforts across the plant.

This is a 1st Shift position, with shift hours 6:45 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Thursday.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operate rubber mill equipment to process materials and meet daily production targets.
  • Monitor material consistency, temperature, and processing conditions to ensure quality output.
  • Support setup, changeovers, and adjustments to maintain efficient mill operation.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
  • Identify and report unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work area aligned with 5S standards.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure materials meet specifications.
  • Identify and escalate defects, inconsistencies, or processing issues.
  • Support first-pass yield and scrap reduction efforts.
  • Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Apply 5S and basic lean manufacturing principles.
  • Identify opportunities to improve mill operation efficiency and workflow.

What We're Looking For

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Basic math and communication skills.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

  • Experience in rubber manufacturing or mill operations.
  • Knowledge of 5S or lean manufacturing principles.
  • Mechanical or machinist experience.
  • Previous production or manufacturing experience.
