The Impact You'll Make
Under supervision of the Manager, Procurement: Responsible for China suppliers deliver to global sites business. Develop and implement supplier & (sub)category strategies for FC business. Lead and coordinate supplier & (sub)category strategy activities across FC division. Active research trends within (sub)category and technology incl. how other industries impact the (sub)category. Understand the commodity market and how this impacts the (sub)category. Proactively understand key stakeholder business trends and requirements and inform proactively about relevant trends.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Contracting
- Negotiate FWA, pricing and surcharge agreements.
- Supplier annual price reduction.
- Material Savings
- Building a negotiation pipeline (target, concept & execution using negotiation toolbox).
- Initiating resourcing projects and monitor their execution as part of strategy implementation.
- Manage quota allocation in case of dual sourcing.
- Surcharge Management
- Initiate & negotiate Surcharge Agreements (including tier - 2 pricing / LOA management) and ensure organizational roll - out.
- Pricing & Procurement Impact Forecast
- Forecast negotiation and surcharge impact based on volume input from the business and market development.
- Scouting & Sourcing
- New supplier identification and technology trend monitoring.
- Supplier onboarding through Sourcing Committee Process.
- Supplier Strategy
- Develop, align and implement supplier strategies and compile those into (sub) category strategies (typically covering spend < 70 M€).
- Considerations include supplier performance, contracting & risk as well as business needs (capacity, footprint & portfolio).
- Owner of supplier segmentation (STAR, Grow, Evaluate).
- Supplier Management
- Owner of 3T (supplier relationship management) program for A & B suppliers. C & Product Suppliers owned by Divisions.
What We're Looking For
Education: Bachelor degree and above, mechanical engineering preferred.
Experience: 6-10 years experience in supplier management preferred. Personal attributes: Good communication skills. Ability to influence and work through others. Problem solving and analytical skills. Flexible, creative and possessing a "can do" attitude.
