Job Description

To lead manufacturing engineer team for process development and equipment install for new program flawless launching. To oversee the overall capacity and capital/tooling spending within the budget. To manage team work with cross function for productivity continuous improvement and cost reduction activity.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

1.    Lead team for process development and equipment install
2.    Implement action to prevent occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process and quality system through appropriate quality tools
3.    Lead team to launch new project due to schedule
4.    Lead continuous improvement in all aspects to ensure overall operations efficiency up and manufacturing cost down
5.    Lead team to maintain manufacturing document
6.    Overall capacity management, machine investment plan and budget control
7.    Lead process problem solving and root cause analysis
8.    Apply lean manufacturing principles to all aspects with cross function team
9.    Considering safety, health and environmental impact of new equipment, and meet the EHS requirement
10.    Any other tasks assigned by supervisor

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

1.    Bachelors or above with mechanical or manufacturing engineering or related field
2.    More than 10 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering with at least 2 years of experience as team leader , and preferred in Auto industry
3.    Proven technical skills on part process and assembly process
4.    Ability to manage functional Manufacturing Engineering team
5.    Demonstrated experience on using tools for problem solving, such as 8D, 5 Why, FEMA,  SPC, 6 Sigma
6.    Fluent English
