Join Danfoss as an ETO Business Consultant in our Product Configuration Department and help shape how we manage complex, customer-specific engineering solutions. You will connect business needs with technology, creating Engineer-to-Order processes that are efficient, scalable, and easier for teams to use.
Working across Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and IT, you will influence how products move from customer requirements to successful delivery. Your expertise will support process standardization, digital transformation, and the continued development of our global ERP landscape.
This is an opportunity to combine business consulting, process improvement, and technology in a role with broad international impact. You will help teams work more effectively while improving operational performance and the customer experience.
You can work in one of our locations - Sofia or Chennai. The job mode shall be hybrid.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Improve end-to-end ETO processes by analyzing current ways of working, identifying gaps, and designing practical solutions across Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Customer Service.
- Connect business and technology teams by translating business needs into clear functional requirements, process designs, and user stories.
- Support SAP and digital transformation initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA implementations, system enhancements, integrations, testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment.
- Build alignment across teams and regions by facilitating workshops and working with process owners and subject-matter experts to establish consistent, scalable ways of working.
- Turn insights into measurable improvements by monitoring process performance, supporting change and training activities, and helping users adopt new solutions successfully.
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least five years of relevant experience as a Business Consultant, Functional Consultant, Process Consultant, or in a comparable role.
- Strong knowledge of Engineer-to-Order processes, including how Engineering, Sales, Project Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics work together.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics. Experience with SAP SD, PP, MM, PS, or EWM is an advantage.
- Proven skills in business requirements gathering, process mapping, stakeholder facilitation, process improvement, and change adoption, together with fluent professional English.
