The Impact You'll Make

At Danfoss Climate Solutions, we are committed to advancing sustainable and energy-efficient solutions that help our customers and communities thrive. As a Global Demand Planner (m/f/d), you will play a key role in ensuring our business has a reliable, data-driven view of future customer demand, enabling informed decisions across the value chain.

You will serve as a critical link between our commercial organization and supply chain teams, transforming data, market insights, and stakeholder input into robust demand forecasts. Your work will directly influence inventory levels, production planning, capacity utilization, and customer satisfaction.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys combining analytical thinking with business understanding. As part of our continued global growth, you will help shape best practices, drive continuous improvement, and create alignment across functions, while leveraging data and technology to make a measurable impact on our customers and business performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and continuously improve demand forecasts for assigned products, markets, or business areas by combining data analysis with commercial and market insights.
  • Lead the monthly demand planning process and drive alignment with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Supply Planning, and other key stakeholders.
  • Analyze demand trends, forecast performance, and market developments to identify risks, opportunities, and actions that support better business decisions.
  • Translate customer developments, product launches, phase-outs, and other business changes into accurate and actionable demand plans.
  • Collaborate closely with Supply Planning to align demand and supply while supporting inventory, service, and operational targets.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of demand planning processes, tools, automation, and digital capabilities to strengthen forecasting effectiveness.

What We're Looking For

  • Educational background in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience in demand planning, forecasting, S&OP, or a related supply chain discipline.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
  • Experience working with Excel, ERP systems, planning tools, business intelligence platforms, or related technologies; knowledge of IBP is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of forecasting principles and demand drivers, combined with the ability to communicate insights, challenge assumptions, and influence stakeholders across functions.
  • A structured, proactive, and self-driven approach, combined with strong collaboration skills and professional English communication abilities.

What You'll Get from Us

  1. We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
  2. You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being matters to us.
  3. We strive to create an inclusive work environment where people of all backgrounds are respected, and valued for who they are.
  4. You’ll receive benefits like annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, personal insurance, and more. These vary by country and contract, but they’re worth asking about—we think they’re pretty great.
