Job Description

Danfoss is looking for a laboratory engineer at High Pressure Pumps (HPP).  Our main products are pumps used in equipment for reverse osmosis, dust and firefighting, humidification, and gas turbines.

 

We are more than 100 creative and innovative colleagues in HPP who develop, produce, and sell high-pressure hydraulic pumps and valves.  Our department has qualified and experienced employees who appreciate partnership and humor. You will be placed in the Innovation and Operation Support Laboratory.

Job Responsibilities

As a laboratory engineer, you will be involved in a wide range of tasks:

  • Contribute to develop, build, and specify new test stands and experimental setups
  • Programming of PLC and participating in ad hoc problem solving
  • Configuring VFD and participate in customer-specific tests
  • Administrator on databases and export of data
  • Responsible for calibration and further developing calibration routines (flow, torque, pressure)
  • Responsible for creating and approval of internal calibration certificates
  • Programming and maintaining software in WinCC/Labview
  • Order materials and services for the laboratory

 

You are probably a trained Engineer in Electrical Engineering or have gained similar knowledge by other means.  Knowledge within Hydraulics and Mechanics is an advantage. We expect you to have more than 3 years of experience in the mentioned areas.

You will have many contacts across the organization within Innovation, Supply chain, Service, and external partners.
