The Impact You'll Make

 

As our Lead Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and delivering embedded software solutions that enable smarter energy use and support the green transition.

 

You’ll help shape innovative control systems that improve energy efficiency in refrigeration and air conditioning, benefiting customers, communities, and the planet. 

 

You’ll collaborate with software, hardware, and control engineers and coordinate with external development partners, taking ownership of product architecture, agile events, software–hardware integration, and product life cycle management.

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Lead concept development and define product/software architecture for embedded control systems. 

  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality solutions. 

  • Apply best practices in automation, testing, quality assurance, and release processes. 

  • Facilitate agile events (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, demos) to drive collaboration and transparency. 

  • Manage technical requirements and support product management with expertise.

What We're Looking For

 

  • Degree in Software Engineering, Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field, with solid and proven experience in embedded software development and control systems. 

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to guide, mentor, and inspire cross-functional and external teams. 

  • Proficiency in real-time operating systems and C/C++ and Python (Structured Text and MATLAB/Simulink optional). 

  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and modern software development tools. 

  • Understanding of communication protocols such as Modbus, CAN, and Bluetooth, and strong software–hardware interfacing skills.
