Job Description

Danfoss is looking for an enthusiastic SAP BI Operations Lead Consultant for Data Intelligence and Advanced Analytics area of Danfoss Group IT (DGIT). This team is responsible for supporting our existing Enterprise Requirement Planning (ERP) systems and Business Intelligence (BI) systems supporting Danfoss in its’ digitalization and electrification agenda across the globe. 
Danfoss owns a comprehensive SAP landscape consisting of various ERP, BI, PI, HCM, SNC, APO, Fiori, Solution Manager systems complemented and enhanced by other cloud solutions. Your skills and competences will be decisive in the support area and you will have the chance to join us on an exciting journey consolidating our SAP ERP and BI systems running on the latest technology for the whole Danfoss Group.

 

Job Responsibilities

As our new colleague, you will be part of a well-functioning global team of committed and skilled IT consultants, who are front runners within SAP BI/BW, supporting HANA technology. In this role, you will not only get to showcase your solid IT talent, SAP and analytical skills by being part of the digital transformation of a leading global organization, but you will also get to test your distant collaboration and IT consultancy skills.

Your immediate core focus will be to monitor and support our SAP BW systems to secure successful data updates as well as to respond to service requests. Your responsibilities will also include to resolve or coordinate the solution of Incidents and Problems in the BI area, which involves close cooperation with other IT specialists and communication with business users.
The team & you will be based in Denmark, but you will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with our teams spread across the globe and will at times include foreign travels.

 

Background & Skills

For ensuring your success in the new role, we expect you to have a relevant Bachelor and/or master's degree in IT or Engineering as well as the experience in Business Intelligence/Business Warehouse positions and an understanding of interfaces between Cloud & SAP solutions. Besides, we expect you have: 

  • Deep understanding of Business Intelligence processes
  • At least 5 years of experience working with SAP Business Intelligence/Business Warehouse systems
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written
  • Experience with SQL database technology, SAP Data services
  • Experience with ETL/ELT processes across different platforms
  • Excellent Knowledge about SAP BW on HANA
  • Experience with ITIL processes, specifically in Service Operations
  • It will be a bonus if you have an understanding on the front-end tools like SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI. Knowledge on SAP embedded Analytics, Microsoft, Amazon, google services.
