The Impact You'll Make

 

As our new Mechanical Engineer, PMI in Nordborg, you will help improve and maintain joysticks, controllers, and displays used in off-highway mobile applications around the world. Through product maintenance, design optimization, and continuous improvement, you will contribute directly to product quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Working across engineering, production, quality, and global teams, you will solve technical challenges, implement product improvements, and support customer needs throughout the product lifecycle. Your ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping the bigger picture in focus will be key to your success.

 

You will join an experienced and collaborative team where you can learn, take ownership, and make a visible impact from day one. You will build strong cross-functional relationships, contribute to ongoing product and design improvements, and become a trusted contributor within the team.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Drive product maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reliability, and customer value
  • Implement design modifications and optimizations based on customer feedback, production needs, and improvement opportunities
  • Act as a mechanical subject matter expert, supporting technical decision-making and product improvements across the business
  • Collaborate across engineering, production, and quality teams to solve technical challenges and support efficient operations
  • Support engineering changes and maintain product documentation to ensure successful implementation and long-term product performance 

What We're Looking For

 

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline, preferably combined with strong mechanical engineering knowledge
  • The ability to collaborate across functions, communicate effectively, and see the bigger picture when solving complex challenges
  • A proactive and structured approach, with the ability to manage multiple parallel tasks and drive improvements forward
  • Experience with, or a willingness to learn, CAD and PLM systems, which are essential tools in this role.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
