Are you ready to take on the role of Regional Payroll Manager, overseeing end-to-end Payroll & Time services? Are you passionate about streamlining processes and enhancing system architecture? Preferably, you work out of our headquarter in Nordborg, but it is also possible to work out of Silkeborg or Kolding, as long as you can be onsite in Nordborg 3 days a week on average. 

 

Danfoss is at the forefront of designing a new HR delivery model, establishing a pioneering HR Services organization committed to delivering state-of-the-art HR services. As the Payroll Manager for Northern Europe, you will play a crucial role in shaping our transformation journey.

You will be responsible for payroll, time and benefit deliveries in our Northern European region which consists of 11 countries and more than 7,000 employees. 

You will be responsible for the transfer of local payroll set-ups in the countries in the region into the EMEA HR Services organization. You will establish and lead the new regional payroll & time team and be overall responsible for all end-to-end payroll and time processes, reporting, audits, and compliance reviews. 

You will join a diverse, international, and highly skilled HR community, and report to the Senior Payroll Manager for EMEA. 

 

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Play a key role on a big transformation journey where we are streamlining our system landscape, reorganizing our payroll set-up, and changing our HR delivery model.
  • Lead the Northern European payroll team by role modelling our company values and by focusing on employee development and well-being.
  • Overall responsible for all end-to-end payroll and time related deliveries. 
  • Collaborate with IT and external vendors on system design, improvements, and integrations.
  • Provide and analyze advanced payroll and time reports.
  • Manage audits and compliance reviews.
  • Continuous streamlining of operations.
  • Manage country payroll & time projects aimed at harmonizing processes and systems within EMEA.

Background & Skills

We imagine that you hold a relevant bachelor's or master’s degree in finance, accounting, human resources, or a related field (or have equivalent work experience).

We expect you to have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a Payroll Manager – preferably from an international HR Services organization. You have a thorough understanding of Danish payroll and you have a hands-on approach. It is also important that you have a good understanding of system landscapes as well as demonstrated experience with leading people and streamlining processes.
