We now have an exciting new oppourtunity to recruit a Pipeline and ESG Manager, to be based from our headquarters in Nordborg, Denmark.

This a high-visibility and high-impact global position, working at the intersection of procurement, engineering, and ESG, will offer you the scope to directly impact both our financial performance and carbon footprint, and help shape both cost transformation and sustainability agenda.  You'll lead a critical global agenda across our Controls division (~€450M spend), combining cost transformation, supplier strategy, and decarbonization, placing you at the center of value creation and sustainability.  You will have scope to drive a structured, high-impact cost-down pipeline while embedding ESG principles—especially Scope 3 emissions reduction—into sourcing decisions and supplier collaboration.

What You’ll Be Doing

 

In this role, you'll take ownership of: 

  • Delivering 3–4% annual cost reduction pipeline across a €450M global spend through a balanced, data‑driven cost‑down strategy
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a global team of 3 Pipeline Project Managers to build strong capabilities and disciplined execution
  • Standardize and strengthen cost‑down processes, tools, and governance, driving alignment across Category Management, Engineering, Operations, and other functions
  • Embed ESG and decarbonization into sourcing by integrating CO₂ performance, monitoring Scope 3.1 impacts, and scaling low‑carbon cost‑reduction opportunities
  • Drive supplier engagement and accountability to build and deliver a robust pipeline of decarbonization and cost‑down initiatives

What We're Looking For

 

  • Strong experience in strategic procurement, cost-down, or value engineering, alongside a proven track record delivering measurable cost savings at scale
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and operations
  • Leadership experience, with ability to drive performance through others
  • Solid understanding of ESG, sustainability, or decarbonization in supply chains
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills in a global environment
  • Analytical and structured mindset, with a hands-on execution approach. 

Preferable would be:

Experience with Scope 3 emissions management

Background in industrial / manufacturing environments
