Danfoss Business Systems is looking for an experienced pricing professional who can demonstrate a proven track record in pricing excellence and change process facilitation. The Danfoss Group is rolling out a Pricing Excellence Program which will drive pricing excellence across all Danfoss segments. 
 

You will play a key role in developing and introducing best-in-class price setting principles, as well as helping the organization develop advanced capabilities and a new mindset to achieve and sustain pricing excellence. Your role is to support the development of pricing strategies globally and across all Danfoss segments. This includes developing new methodology and processes, specifying tools, and facilitating change through training, optimization of processes, coaching, and engaging the organization.

Extensive travel activity must be expected. 

Background & Skills

To be considered for this position, you must hold a relevant master’s degree and have extensive professional experience in pricing excellence, process facilitation, and change management gained in a global B2B business or in a leading consultancy firm. Moreover, we are looking for a candidate who has: 
 

  • A proven record of successful roll out of pricing excellence activities.
  • Experience from the consultancy industry could be of relevance.
  • Excellent skills in driving change initiatives in pricing through training, communication, and coaching.
  • Proactive and strategic mindset – with the ability to support and train stakeholders in applying pricing principles. 
  • Outstanding team player with the ability to facilitate good collaboration across many functions and nationalities.
  • Business acumen, value chain understanding and financial understanding.
  • Experience working in a global matrix organization and participating in global project teams collaborating with a network of internal and external world-class specialists.
  • Fluent and comprehensive in English – written and verbal.
     

The right candidate will have the confidence to purposely drive toward results while constantly solving problems and engaging the commitment of others. Hence it is imperative that you can envision opportunities when issues arise and lift the team to see this view as well.

You are goal-oriented and have an excellent, outgoing, and persuasive communication style, and you motivate, train, and engage others in an enthusiastic way while focusing on building rapport and relationships with individuals and groups. Understanding the business and being able to interact with multiple stakeholders, including executives, across borders and cultures is key to success in this role.
