Job Description

Danfoss Power Solutions is looking for a Quality Engineer who can understand our products from the end-user perspective, and who can ensure the delivery of quality solutions to our customers.

You will become part of a team consisting of 6 skilled and committed colleagues, where you will play an important role in managing non-conformance, but more importantly, promoting a quality mindset to our people, and to assist the building of quality into our existing products and processes!

Job Responsibilities

As our new Quality Engineer, you will be the voice of the customer in coaching and developing our Operations teams. You will also promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization, including product and process design within the development phase.

 

With focus on APQP & QMS development, your mission will be to increase customer confidence by ensuring the quality of Connect & Control Solutions (CCS) future products and processes.

 

 

Your main responsibilities will be to:

 

  • Support quality integration in New Product Development projects
  • Provide support in the use of quality core tools (APQP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, PPAP, 8D)
  • Support QMS transition process, with a local QMS system compliant to ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016
  • Share best practices within Connect & Control Solutions (CCS) facilities
  • Audit product and processes according to ISO 9001:2015 & IATF 16949:2016 standards
  • Analyse product returns as part of the Corrective Action Process

You are proactive and have a keen perception, a strong team spirit and can build relations and cooperate across borders and cultures. You are a Self-starter – be proactive in determining goals and objectives and in pursuing the necessary course of action.

 

Furthermore.

 

  • Educational background in B.Sc./M.Sc. in engineering or similar.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years solid hands-on experience working with quality in projects
  • Advance Knowledge of Change Management (IATF 16949:2016, VDA 6)
  • Advanced knowledge of core quality tools (APQP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, PPAP) and broad knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 & IATF 16949:2016.
  • You are proficient in written as well as spoken English
