Job Responsibilities

As R&D and Engineering Manager, you will manage a cross-disciplinary team of Mechanical- and Electronic Product engineers in an agile work environment. As part of the team, you will be working closely together with teams across our organization, Purchasing, Quality, Sales, Operation etc.

 

Together with your team, you will have ownership of the product development such as oil pumps, oil & water nozzles, preheaters, ignitors etc. The development includes design, specifications, analysis and product validation. While at the same time working closely with the Product Management team in fulfilling the requirements and building roadmaps.

 

Some of your tasks will be the following:

  • Responsible for defining the agile development methodology, ensuring adoption across our organization
  • Lead of highly motivated engineers towards building and delivering the right enablers that support the needs of our product teams allowing them to deliver business value faster
  • Drive compliance & adherence to product- and process requirements
  • Work closely with Peers & stakeholder on regular basis to bridge the gap between technology and business
  • Support career growth for your team members by understanding their aspirations and connecting them with Danfoss strategy
  • Have financial and budgetary responsibility

The ideal candidate holds an academic degree in Product Development /Technology, Product Management or similar in combination with the following:
 

  • You understand people’s motivations and feelings, knowing how to motivate others to change
  • You are great at finding ways to improve the quality and efficiency of work
  • You are good at evaluating information, generating solutions, and using facts, logic, and experience to support decisions
  • Advanced English both written and verbally is a need
