Job Description

Danfoss High Pressure Pumps is looking for a Product Manager for our Reverse Osmosis products who will assume full responsibility for managing and optimizing our existing and future product portfolio. This includes ensuring product quality, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and driving continuous cost optimization initiatives. You will play a key role in developing and executing the product roadmap aligned with relevant application strategies. 
Additionally, you will act as a subject matter expert, providing technical and commercial product support to sales, field service, and other relevant stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a technically strong and commercially minded Product Manager with the following background and capabilities:

  • In-depth technical knowledge of Reverse Osmosis products, including performance, functionality, and applications.

  • Experience leading product development projects, acting as Product Owner throughout the full lifecycle.

  • Ability to develop strong business cases for new product innovations and variants.

  • Skilled in defining product value propositions and performing competitive analyses.

  • Proven track record of driving product cost optimization and lifecycle management.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements relevant to the application.

  • Strong documentation skills, including creation of technical, sales, and support material.

  • Collaborative mindset with experience engaging cross-functional teams (Sales, Field Service, Innovation, etc.).

  • Customer-focused, with the ability to support commercial teams and engage with end-users.

  • Results-oriented, with demonstrated success in driving sales growth, margin improvement, and market adoption of new products.

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of technical understanding, commercial insight, and hands-on product management experience. We are looking for someone who thrives in an industrial environment and is motivated by delivering value to customers. Furthermore, you have/are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, or a solid foundation in technical or commercial disciplines.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Product Management role, preferably within an industrial setting.

  • Technical and/or commercial expertise related to Sea Water Reverse Osmosis and/or Industrial Wastewater Reuse & Recycling is highly desirable.

 

You are a proactive and self-driven professional with a strong sense of ownership and a structured approach to managing priorities. You excel at driving product initiatives with a clear focus on customer value and thrive in cross-functional collaboration thanks to your strong communication skills.
