Danfoss Sensing Solutions is looking for an innovative and experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to join our R&D team. If you have a passion for sensor technology and a strong background in industrial product development, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact.

Our main R&D facilities are located at Danfoss Headquarters in Nordborg, which will be your primary workplace. For the right candidate, there is also an option to work from our Kolding campus.

Job Responsibilities

You can look forward to taking on these primary responsibilities, along with other relevant tasks:

  • Electronics design of industrial sensors from concept to design validation – with tough demands on cost, performance, and reliability.
  • Ensuring that our new sensors are designed for appropriate digital or analog connectivity and comply with needed industrial standards
  • Identifying long-term trends in electronics for sensors and sensor solutions and translating them into innovative product and feature ideas
  • Technical leadership in terms of planning of product development activities, design of experiments, circuit simulations, analysis of results, and product documentation.
  • Close collaboration with external suppliers, customers as well as internal application specialists, business development specialists, and fellow engineers.

Background & Skills

You hold a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and have a solid theoretical background within applied mechatronics design, signal conditioning, analog, and digital electronics incl. EMC. You have also extensive experience as an Engineer within industrial product development – preferably from high-volume sensor businesses.

From your previous working experience, you have a well-developed ability to understand customer needs and invent new product features to satisfy these needs. 


You are a fast learner, and as a person you are detailed oriented, while having the interest to understand the big picture. As an engineer by heart and a persistent problem solver, you are a dedicated Team-Player who involves the relevant stakeholders and therefore makes the right decisions.

Furthermore, you communicate effortlessly in English - written and verbal - with people at all levels and work well in a diverse environment.
