Danfoss Climate Solution, Burner Components, is looking for a Senior Product Manager. 

It will be your responsibility to develop, implement and communicate a customer driven product strategy and to drive the overall attractiveness of your portfolio.

To succeed in this role, important enablers include ownership of your portfolio, a commercially driven and customer-focused approach, and effective collaboration with key stakeholders such as sales, business development, engineering, and supply chain.

Job Responsibilities

As a key player in our organization, you will drive the performance and competitiveness of the product- short term and long term, focusing on sales growth and profitability and will also be responsible for product positioning and crafting compelling value propositions.

You will play an active role in front-end activities, including Pre-NPD and early NPD stages, involving customers and aligning business case content with product strategy.

In this role, you will execute short- and long-term product/solution portfolio strategies and roadmaps in line with the product lifecycle. This includes a high focus on:
 

• Grow: customer engagement and business growth.
• Defend: understanding of threats and the development of innovative strategies.
• Maintain: operational excellence and cash generation.

You will engage with business development and sales to secure aligned and targeted strategic focus, and execution of key initiatives. Further provide support on customer-related topics such as pricing and product feasibility.

Background & Skills

As the ideal candidate for this role, you possess a unique blend of professional expertise and personal qualities, and you hold several years of experience in a similar or adjacent role. 

You have a solid educational background, e.g. a degree in engineering complemented with innovation/business. Proficiency in English is essential for this position.

As a person, you have a result-oriented and positive mindset, combined with a hands-on approach to your work. You are passionate and outgoing, with an eagerness to share knowledge and contribute to development.

You possess clear, motivating, and positive communication skills, and can effectively communicate across all levels of the organization. 

Excellent analytical skills enable you to research and analyze data, such as customer insights, competitor analysis, target markets, and geographical trends, to inform strategic product decisions.
